Our chicken stock is made from organic egg-laying chickens, seasonal vegetables and water.
The stock has a pure taste of chicken.
The meat from egg-laying chickens cannot be used in normal cooking. The texture of the meat is chewy and lean which makes it very difficult to use as a protein in a dish. But, when we you make stock, the texture of the chicken meat doesn’t matter. All that matters is the taste. Which is why we utilise this - normally rejected - type of chicken in our stock.
We make stock based on seasonal produce. Our stock is therefore different from winter to summer, depending on which vegetables are available.
By using seasonal vegetables, we can buy from domestic farms for production all year. Therefore, the vegetables will not have to be transported from distant locations. If your food travels worldwide to get to you, it uses lots of energy which means lots of greenhouse gases.
Perfect for sauce, soups and simmering dishes.
OBS: All stocks are shelf-stable with a shelflife of minimum 6 months.
