Shellfish Stock 4-pack
Our shellfish stock is made from shore crabs and organic, seasonal vegetables without additives, concentrate or aromas.
We only use real, fresh ingredients, and it is made the traditional way; the liquid simmers, reduces, and is hand-stirred continuously.
The stock has a deep taste of umami with hints of sea and nuts. Use the shellfish stock in bisque for New Year, fish soups, sauce, paella, or risotto.
We use shore crabs because they are a bycatch for fishermen.
There more are more than 12 billion in the Danish seas. They harm the marine ecosystem and cause significant problems as the crabs eat fishers' catch, destroy their fishing nets, and threaten other species. Research from the Technical University of Denmark shows that creating stock is the optimal utilization of shore crabs.
OBS: All stocks are shelf-stable with a shelflife of minimum 6 months.
